baby chairs Pregnant..bumped stomach on dinning room chair,is amniotic sac protecting the baby?
I have mistakenly thought I had enough room to walk by my dinning room table *when a chair is pulled out it can be tight squeeze* but I have hit my stomach on the chair while walking by it has happened a few times but last night it hit near my belly button and hurt not like a lot of pain but just a small…would the amniotic sac protect my small baby?? I’ve tried so many times to watch out for that dinning table but it’s just always in the way! Should I be a bit worried or should he be protected?
37 weeks pregnant =)

There is so much between baby and the outside world that you would be in terrible pain long before the baby ever got hurt. Not only is there the sac and the water but there is your uterus, abdominal muscle, subcutaneous stout, and skin. You would have serious bruising and probably wouldn’t be able to stand if you hit your belly hard enough to hurt baby. Just try not to worry too much.

It’s perfectly normally for you to be worried. Your baby is well protected. in there I walked into a bollard and fell down a couple of steps and my bubbi is perfectly healthy. my friend accidently was chasing her brother and jumped on here terrible landing on her belly which would have more impact that you bumping on her chair and 3 months later she had a bouncing baby boy

You’re be alright congrats

Don’t stress over it. You have your skin and everything in your tummy then the sac, then the baby. Its protected. Just bumping into a chair won’t harm the baby. Be worried if you fall really hard or get punched or kicked or something like that. Congratulations btw (:
